Versa Disc


According to MSKTC, “Between 30 and 65% of TBI survivors suffer from lack of core strength and balance.”  A strong core is necessary for walking, sitting up, stabilizing the body, and so many more dynamics of functional daily living.  Basically, a strong core, a strong everything else.  This is exactly why the Versa Disc is a great is a great piece of equipment for TBI recovery.  This inexpensive, portable, and versatile tool is designed for improving  the condition of both core and balance, both of which are typically affected by TBI.  With that said, below are examples of exercises that are  recommended by various doctors, physical therapists, and kinesiology interns to improve both balance and core strength.
